Susan Noyes, PhD, OTR/L, is an assistant professor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern Maine. She has practiced occupational therapy in mental health settings for over 30 years. Susan is a founding member of the Portland (Maine) Hoarding Task Force and served as one of the initial 'Friendly Visitor' volunteers. She now supervises groups of occupational therapy student volunteers annually, and has conducted research on the perceptions of volunteer program participants.
