San Francisco Bay Area Center for Cognitive Therapy
Co-Director

As a CBT therapist, I've specialized in helping people with OCD, anxiety disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling/skin picking) for over 23-years. I'm the author of "Daring to Challenge OCD: Overcome Your Fear of Treatment & Take Control of Your Life Using Exposure & Response Prevention" (New Harbinger, 2014), which guides readers through what to expect during treatment, why it's worth it, and what it has been like for others who successfully completed treatment. I enjoy presenting workshops and offering trainings in the bay area and nationally , and I especially enjoy talking with people directly about using strategies to challenge OCD during and after treatment. I hope you'll join me on Thursday evening for a support group about overcoming obstacles during treatment and beyond. Specifically, we'll focus on the obstacle, "feeling like it never ends!" and how to stay motivated to face obsessions and embrace uncertainty as a life-long goal.
