Denis Asselin, MA

Denis Nicholson Asselin is dedicated to spreading awareness about BDD/OCD. His son Nathaniel struggled 13 years with BDD and took his own life at age 24. In Nathaniel’s memory, Denis walked the Camino in Spain with wife Judy and daughter Carrie, followed by walks from PA to Boston and PA to Washington DC to raise funds for BDD research and treatment. En route he spoke at hospitals, clinics, and schools about this poorly understood, often misdiagnosed brain disorder. He serves on the IOCDF Board.
