Andrea Guastello, MS

Andrea Guastello M.S., is a third-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida (UF). She was a graduate research assistant in the UF Behavioral Medicine Research Lab for two years before becoming a graduate research assistant at the UF Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD) Program. She has presented her findings at numerous conferences including the annual conventions of the American Psychological Association and American Psychological Science. Andrea is currently a graduate practicum counselor working with OCD, and she is a part of an OCD treatment process and outcomes study in children and adolescents. Before graduate school, Andrea worked as a residential counselor for adolescents undergoing intensive residential treatment for OCD at Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc Wisconsin. Andrea is being mentored by Dr. Gary R. Geffken and Dr. Joseph P.H. McNamara.
